My second in comand looked up at me. "The star gate is open now sir" he said. Our ship had bin told to go through the star gate. So our ship sailed through the gate. Then every thing went white. A big red fire ball came out of no where and the ship rocked back and fourth i looked up and saw every thing was up on end and blood red fire raged through the bridge. When the light dimed i looked at my second in command and saw that he was slumped in his seat. Cleary dead. I though why did the other ship make it through and we didn't. As the white light got brighter and i saw no more.
