“Tell the fleet to retreat and regroup close to Navikano III!” I yelled at the communication officer. The Dynamo’s last engine rumbled in attempt to move the giant ship. “Sir, we don’t have enough power!” one of the engineering chief yelled, through the ship-wide communication system, from the engine chamber. “Darn it, we’re sitting ducks!” yelled the navigation officer, and more than half of the bridge crew turned and look at me. I know it is my job, as the commanding officer, to get us out of this mess, so I told everyone to calm down and that I’ll think something that would save us. “Divert all power from the engines to recharge all of our cannons. All un-necessary personnels abandon ship.” I said a moment later. Most of the petty officers and some of the main bridge officers left the deck and ran down the corridor towards the escape pods. On the screen, it showed all our energies recharging the cannons. 30% … 40% … 50% … “Do we have any way to make it faster?” I asked. “Sir, we could divert all our power from lighting the ship to the recharging of the cannons.” A bridge officer said uncertainly. “Ok, broadcast a lights off warning!” I yelled to the communication officer. “Leave only the lights to the escape pod on, and divert all other available energy to the cannons. 70% … 90% … “Ready to fire!” the weapons officer yelled. “Fire!” I told him, pointing at the nearest battleship. The ship, battered from the fight, shook as the cannons fired. Four large streaks of light, followed by twenty or so smaller once, flew at the enemy carriers. “Divert all energy to the engines down, and move us as far as possible!” I yelled through the engineering channel. “Prepare to fire the rest of our nuclear missiles!” I yelled at the weapons officer. “Firing nuclear weapons!” he replied, tapping on his monitor. “Fire everything else, missiles, cannons, and whatever else there can be fired!” I yelled again. In front of us, two nuclear missiles, followed by three small scatter rounds of cannon, couple of missiles, an eject-able space probe, and some other things too small to be identified. The turrets on the leading three battleships swirled around, tracking our ship as we move slowly away, and an energy reserve, so strong that it could be detected by our ship, charged up. The first cannon rounds impacted on the lower section of the first ship, followed by smaller cannon rounds which only scratch the armor of the huge, menacing ship. “Abandon ship!” I yelled at the officers left on the bridge, and instructed the communication officer to broadcast it across the whole length of the Dynamo. I ran down towards the corridor, together with my three clone security guards, towards my personnel transport. Just then, a bright flash could be seen appearing from the enemy ships, and more than thirty bolts of energy charged towards the Dynamo!
